Road tunnel for protection of Far Eastern leopards commissioned in Primorye

BARABASH VILLAGE (Primorye Territory), March 26. /TASS/. The Narvinsky road tunnel, built as part of the program to preserve the Far Eastern leopard’s population, has been commissioned.

Kremlin administration chief Sergey Ivanov took part in the solemn ceremony. Ivanov inspected the tunnel and then delivered a speech.

"There are all grounds to say that today we finally built Russia’s first environmental tunnel that serves… motorists… and makes life easier for our beautiful animals living in the Far East: not only leopards," he said.
