Equal exchanges: Putin calls for mutually beneficial scientific cooperation worldwide

According to the head of state, such activities "should be based on an equal footing and equal exchanges" so that Russia only achieves benefits

MOSCOW, January 9. /TASS/. Russia should boost scientific cooperation with all countries willing to work together in this area, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Sergeyev.

"We have no limits in this field and should cooperate with all who are willing to work with us," he said.

According to the head of state, such activities "should be based on an equal footing and equal exchanges" so that Russia loses nothing and only achieves benefits. "This is a goal to pursue, we must not be only a source of skills and knowledge," the Russian president said.

"If we share something with someone, we must get equally valuable information in return," Putin added.
