MOSCOW, June 29 /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin spent last weekend with his old friend, former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusoni, in the Altai Republic, Siberia, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.

"Indeed, they [Putin and Berlusconi] visited Altai. Berlusconi was here [in Russia] on a private trip," Peskov said.

He said they stayed at a Gazpromneft guesthouse.

"I cannot give you more details," Peskov told reporters.

He said he had no information on the Russian leader's further vacation plans.

Putin and Berlusconi last met in Rome on June 10 during the Russian president's visit to Italy.
