MOSCOW, December 3. /TASS/. NATO is not ready to build equal cooperation with Russia to react to security threats in the Euro-Atlantic region, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on its website Wednesday.

“NATO is still in captivity of its own politicized approaches and is not ready to build equal interaction with Russia to react to real, not imaginary, threats to security in the Euro-Atlantic,” the document said.

The final resolutions of the Council of NATO Foreign Ministers and the Ukraine-NATO Commission are confrontational towards Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry added.

The resolutions provoke the creation of demarcation lines in Europe, the foreign ministry said. The current Euro-Atlantic security crisis is the result of NATO’s consistent policy of enlarging “eastward,” the ministry stressed.
