Putin arrives in Tuva for republic anniversary celebration

The republic has days off from September 5 to 8 in connection with the anniversary

KYZYL, September 6 (Itar-Tass) - Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Kyzyl, the capital of the Republic of Tuva, on Saturday to participate in celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the unification of Tuva with Russia.

Guests from all over Russia have gathered in the geographical centre of Asia for the celebration. The republic has days off from September 5 to 8 in connection with the anniversary.
