Number of Ukrainian refugees in Rostov region exceeds 40,000

Ninety temporary accommodation facilities have been deployed in the region for refugees

ROSTOV-ON-DON, July 27 /ITAR-TASS/. The number of Ukrainian refugees that have been accommodated in Russia’s Rostov region has exceeded 40 thousand, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry’s main department for the region reported on Sunday.

“As many as 683 people have been accommodated in the region’s municipalities over the past day. A total of 40,243 people, including 13,289 children have been accommodated in the region,” the regional emergencies department said.

Ninety temporary accommodation facilities have been deployed in the region for refugees where 5,054 people have found shelter.

And 32,151 people have been put up at the relatives and friends.

The Ukrainian refugees’ life support activity involves 2,900 people and 788 machinery units.
