KRASNOYARSK, July 28 (Itar-Tass) - A Siberian resident died as his homemade plane crashed in the Krasnoyarsk territory on Sunday, the press service of the regional interior ministry told Itar-Tass.
Police are investigating the crash of a single seat plane in the Yemelyanovsk district.
According to the preliminary information, a resident of the Krasnoyarsk territory, 53, tested his homemade plane on a motorway running between two villages.
Witnesses said his plane made several takeoffs and landings, flew high into the skies and soon after crashed in the nearby forest.
Police dispatched to the scene of the accident found the plane and the pilot’s body.
The man had been building homemade planes over the past thirty years.
