According to a statement by the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea published on Thursday, Pyongyang expressed readiness to conduct talks on normalization of the operation of the Kaesong Industrial Zone that has been staying idle since April and to resume tourist trips to Mount Kumgang resort on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the joint declaration of June 15, 2000.
