UFA, January 14 (Itar-Tass) — A resident of the city Salavat in Bashkortostan fired from a rifle at the kindergarten, the press service of the republic police told Itar-Tass on Monday.
The director of the kindergarten called the police and said that the gunshot was made at the window of the kindergarten. The team of detectives rushed to the incident site.
“The detectives found preliminarily that a local resident, who was born in 1962, has made several shots from a hunting rifle from the window of his flat in Kolkhoznaya Street,” the police press service reported. “The police have fenced off the incident site, the dwellers of neighbouring houses were evacuated to the safe place. The emergency headquarters are headed by Bashkir deputy interior minister Col. Andrei Kurnosenko,” the press service said.
“To unarm the armed man the emergency headquarters has the Bashkir police task force,” the press service noted.
