RF snowboarder seriously injured at Italian resort

He received serious injuries of head and chest, and numerous fractures

ROME, December 27 (Itar-Tass) — A Russian tourist has been hospitalised in a critical condition at the intensive care unit in Aosta, Italy.

The Stampa newspaper writes on Thursday that the Russian tourist, 30, fell from a height of 30 metres by snowboarding at the ski resort in Cervinia.

The Russian snowboarder received serious injuries of head and chest, and numerous fractures. An ambulance helicopter was used to transport him to the hospital. Doctors name his condition as “critical”.

The Russian snowboarder had the rest jointly with his spouse, the newspaper writes.
