SOCHI, November 30./TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev hailed on Thursday a dialogue between Russia and Iran, saying relations between the two states develop on all trajectories.
"Our countries have established a diversified dialogue. Quite recently, here in Sochi, we had a three-party summit of Russia, Iran and Azerbaijan," Medvedev said at a meeting with First Vice President of Iran Eshaq Jahangiri. "President (of Iran Hassan) Rouhani also participated in it. We have also met with you within the framework of a multilateral international event - a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) heads of government," the prime minister said.
"This is a good opportunity for exchanging information on how Russian-Iranian cooperation develops on all trajectories, including to a great degree on economic issues," Medvedev said.
The Iranian official thanked the Russian prime minister for a possibility to meet and also confirmed that relations of Russia and Iran are developing progressively in political, as well as economic and cultural spheres, stressing that cooperation was also established on regional and international issues.
