DUSHANBE, February 27. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Tajikistan for an official visit. In Dushanbe, the Russian leader will hold talks with President Emomali Rahmon and sign a number of documents. A statement to the media and an official reception in honor of the Russian delegation are expected as well.
Earlier in the day, the Russian president met with Kazakhstan’s President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Almaty. On Tuesday, February 28, Putin will fly from Dushanbe to Bishkek. His visit is timed to 25 years of Russia’s diplomatic relations with Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan marked this year.
