BEIJING, February 9. /TASS/. China’s President Xi Jinping plans to visit Moscow in midyear, Russian Ambassador to China Andrei Denisov said on Thursday.
"Xi Jinping’s visit will take place in midyear," he said, adding that top level contacts between the two countries have intensified in the recent years.
It will be a response visit to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s two visits to China last year. The visits yielded a number of major agreements which are expected to be the basis for further strengthening of bilateral strategic relations between Moscow and Beijing.
