LIMA, November 20. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested comparing notes on the most actual issues of bilateral cooperation at the meeting with Japan’s Prime Minister Shinz· Abe at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit on Sunday. The vector of interaction development is positive, the Russian leader said.
"We resumed certain interaction tools making possible for us to progress in development of bilateral relations," Putin said referring to earlier consultations between foreign and defense ministries and security councils of both countries. "Furthermore, proactive implementation of your initiatives to intensify trade and economic cooperation continues," Putin addressed Abe.
"We have a good opportunity today to compare notes in all these areas," the Russian President said.
