MOSCOW, November 17. /TASS/. Russia's Special Presidential Envoy to the Middle East and African Countries, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and Germany’s Federal Foreign Office Political Director Andreas Michaelis have discussed the humanitarian situation in Syria and the war on terror, the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement.
"German Ambassador to Russia Rudiger von Fritsch also took part in the consultations. The parties discussed the situation in the Middle East focusing on the search for an early solution to the Syrian crisis, delivery of humanitarian aid to the Syrian people and issues concerning the fight against international terrorism," the statement reads.
