Russian Security Council chief meets with Kazakh, Armenian counterparts

YEREVAN, October 14./TASS/. Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev met on Friday with his Kazakh counterpart Vladimir Zhumakanov, the press service of the Russian Security Council reports.

Patrushev congratulated his colleague on the recent appointment and the two security chiefs discussed bilateral cooperation to ensure security of Russia and Kazakhstan.

Also on Friday, "Patrushev had negotiations with the secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Yuri Khachaturov," the report said. "They discussed topical issues of ensuring regional and international security, interaction of the power-wielding and law enforcement agencies of Russia and Armenia," it added.
