HANGZHOU, September 5 /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday that China had organized and hosted the G20 summit effectively, beautifully and "with soul".
"China has done colossal work to organize the G20 summit. It did that very well - ‘with soul’ I would say," Putin told journalists after the G20 summit.
Putin also noted the summit’s efficiency.
"We reached all the agreements, which we had wanted to reach, despite some differences. All the agreements have been signed," the Russian head of state said.
Putin noted that China was Russia’s biggest partner. He admitted that bilateral trade had been on decline but noted that its quality had improved. "Some more important processes are taking place in my view. The structure of our trade is changing. It is becoming more sophisticated and noble. Russia is increasing its exports of machines and equipment to China," Putin stressed.
