MOSCOW, July 22. /TASS/. Russia’s ministry of justice said on Friday it has supplemented the register of non-government organizations acting as foreign agents with the Institute for Economic Analysis Fund.
"The ministry’s Moscow department has established the fact of this organization’s meeting the criteria of a non-profit organization operating as a foreign agent following a snap check of its documentation," the ministry said.
The fund was put on the register of foreign agents under number 137.
The fund was set up by Andrei Illarionov in 1994. Currently, according to the fund’s website, it is a non-profit organization acting as an independent non-state, non-political institution.
