MOSCOW, June 20. /TASS/. Russian State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin may meet with President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Pedro Agramunt, who plans to visit Moscow to take part as an observer in a session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, Naryshkin’s press secretary Yevgenia Chugunova said on Monday.
"Such meeting is not ruled out," she said.
Russia’s chief delegate at PACE, Aleksey Pushkov, told TASS "the PACE speaker is going to arrive in Moscow at the end of this month for a session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation."
Pushkov added that the visit would take place at the request of the State Duma’s leadership.
The session is due on June 28-29.
Last May, Agramunt, elected PACE speaker early this year, visited St. Petersburg, where he attended a meeting of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
