MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. US has become more perceptive to Moscow's position on the Syrian crisis, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday.

"I think that now the Americans are much more perceptive to the arguments we have been offering for the past several years," he said.

US Secretary of State John Kerry made known Washington’s willingness to cooperate with Russia on the problems of Syrian settlement in a speech on Tuesday, Lavrov said, adding that the opportunities for this existed in reality.

"After the conversation between Defense Minister [Sergey] Shoigu and Defense Secretary Ashton Carter both sides voiced encouraging assessments," he said.

"I think they’ve become more perceptive to the objective situation," Lavrov said.
