MOSCOW, March 12. /TASS/. Russian oil and gas producer Gazprom Neft is the largest taxpayer in Serbia, is working efficiently and is doing a lot in the sphere of innovations, President Vladimir Putin said at the meeting with the Leaders of Russia competition winners.

"Gazprom Neft Company is the largest taxpayer in Serbia. They have a good large cluster there; it is developing well, [it is] the law abiding company for the country of presence and is working very efficiently and is doing a lot in the innovations sphere, this is definitely so," Putin stressed.

"Gazprom Neft is a high technology company and it pays much attention to that," the President added.
