State Duma delegation to set off for North Korea on April 12

The South Korean delegates are also ready to join the work on the creation of a venue for dialogue between the Russian and North, South Korean parliament members, the Duma's relevant committee said

MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. Members of the Russian parliamentary group on ties to North Korea’s parliament will go to Pyongyang on April 12, where they will discuss the creation of a venue for dialogue between the Russian and North and South Korean members of parliament based on the State Duma, head of the group, member of the State Duma Committee for the CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Kazbek Taisayev told journalists on Monday.

"The trip is scheduled for April 12. <…> The groups of friendship - the Russian group and the North Korean group - actively supported the creation of this venue. [The South Korean parliamentary members] are also ready to join this work: we met, and they are interested in creating this venue," he said, noting that China also showed a "great interest" in it. According to Taisayev, the issue of organizing this venue will be actively discussed, in particular, at the international forum "The Development of Parliamentarianism," which will be held in Moscow in early July.
