Putin notes effective cooperation between Moscow and Ankara on international agenda

MOSCOW, October 29. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a greeting telegram to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the 95th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey, the Kremlin press service reported.

"Putin stressed the importance of the current successful development of constructive cooperation in all areas by Moscow and Ankara, as well as their effective cooperation in the solution of major issues on the regional and international agenda for the benefit of the two countries’ nations and the whole Eurasian continent," the report says.

The Russian state leader noted that "the basis for benevolent and good-neighborly relations between our states was laid in the first years of the existence of the Republic of Turkey."
