MOSCOW, July 13. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with President of Sudan Omar al-Bashir, who is coming to Moscow for the 2018 FIFA World Cup final, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday.

Peskov did not specify the date, saying that the meeting will be held "ahead of the [World Cup] final." The Kremlin spokesman did not rule out that reporters could attend the formal part of the meeting.

In March, Putin and Omar al-Bashir held a telephone conversation.

The FIFA World Cup final will take place at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium on July 15.
