German national dies while climbing Mount Elbrus at height of 3,700 meters

The man was climbing the mount in a registered tourist group when he felt sick and died

MOSCOW, August 4. /TASS/. A German national died while climbing Mount Elbrus, a spokesman for the Kabardino-Balkaria department of the Russian emergencies ministry said on Tuesday.

According to the spokesman, the man was climbing the mount in a registered tourist group. Near the Bochka hut at a height of 3,700 meters, he felt sick and died.

Five rescuers were commissioned to take the body down.
