At least 5 killed, 4 injured in attack on Donetsk hospital

Local authorities said that buildings of six schools and five kindergartens were damaged in the attack, which also disrupted power supplies in that part of the city

MOSCOW, February 4. /TASS/. At least five people have been killed in an artillery strike on a Donetsk hospital, the Interior Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) said on Wednesday.

"One person was killed in the hospital and four others in the street," the ministry said, adding that four people were injured.

Local authorities said that buildings of six schools and five kindergartens were damaged in the attack, which also disrupted power supplies in that part of the city.

Eduard Basurin, a spokesman for the republic's Defense Ministry, said the attack on the hospital was launched from Ukrainian positions in the town of Marinka.
