ABU DHABI, November 26. /TASS/. The United Arab Emirates’ Mubadala Petroleum Company is working on investment estimation of licensed areas in Russia’s Tomsk, Omsk and Orenburg regions, Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov told a meeting of the Russia-UAE intergovernmental commission on Sunday.

"We already have a few joint projects, and Mubadala Petroleum is estimating the new licensed areas in Russia: in the Tomsk, Omsk and Orenburg regions," he said. "Besides, a big potential for development is in a joint development of ecology-safe technologies for shelf production, deep processing and transportation of hydrocarbons."

The Mubadala Investment Company has been a partner of the Russian Direct Investment Fund. Their joint investments are in various sectors of the economy.

According to the Russian minister, Russia similarly with regulation of the global demand in the oil market continues developing cooperation in the aluminum sector. "A system-based solution there should be our common position on organization of a multifaceted aluminum dialogue in the framework of the global initiative in sustainable industrial development," he said.
