Tomsk companies plan to double equipment supplies to Gazprom

NOVOSIBIRKS, March 13. /TASS/. Tomsk companies supplied in 2016 to Gazprom’s structures equipment for using in the Arctic worth 3.5 billion rubles and plan to increase supplies in the current year to 8 billion (about $133 million), deputy governor of the Tomsk region, Mikhail Sohkin, said on Monday at a meeting of presidential envoys to the Urals and the Siberian Federal Districts.

On Monday, Novosibirsk hosted a joint meeting of the Russian presidential envoys in the Siberian and in the Urals Federal Districts. The agenda includes scientific and technology aspects of the Arctic projects, use of the regions’ production potential for economic development of the Russian Arctic zone. The meeting also featured regional heads, chairs of the Siberian and Urals divisions of the Russian Academy of Scientists, top managers of companies, working in the Arctic.
