March 13. /TASS/. Sberbank’s head office in Kiev suspended work for security reasons, press service of the credit institution told TASS on Monday.
"Operations of the office located in Vladimirskaya Street (Kiev) are suspended for security reasons. The bank filed an application to law enforcement agencies regarding the fact of the incident. All other offices of the bank are working normally," Sberbank said.
It was reported earlier Ukraine’s radicals blocked windows and entrance to Sberbank’s head office by concrete blocks, demanding prohibition of Russian banks’ work in the country.
