MOSCOW, December 7. /TASS/. Russian oil producer Tatneft will provide engineering and maintenance services in the sphere of oilfields exploration and development and oilfield equipment repair in Sudan. Such information is contained in the minutes of the fourth meeting of intergovernmental Russian-Sudanese commission on trade and economic cooperation.
The parties noted Transneft’s interest in cooperation with discipline authorities and companies in Sudan.
Provision of consulting services and technical support is anticipated within the framework of turnkey building of new refining, gas processing and petrochemical assets and upgrade of existing ones.
Russia is expected to supply oilfield equipment, chemicals, tires, base oils and mineral fertilizers to Sudan.
