ISTANBUL, October 10. /TASS/. Rosatom welcomes Turkish investors into Akkuyu nuclear power plant construction project as contemplated initially, Chief Executive Officer of the Russian nuclear corporation Alexei Likhachev said on Monday.
"Many companies showed interest; this was not the subject matter of presidents’ talks," Likhachev said. "Indeed such an opportunity [to attract Turkish investors] remains and I hope it will be implemented," he added.
The pause in bilateral relations did not affect the project execution timeframe, he said.
