US oil stockpiles up 7.7 mln barrels Week of Feb. 9-13 to new record of 425.6 mln barrels

Meanwhile, Brent crude price rebounded to $60 per barrel after falling below $58 per barrel in London

MOSCOW, February 19. /TASS/. Crude stockpiles in the US expanded 7.72 million barrels in week ended February 13, the US Energy Information Administration said Thursday.

Crude inventories rose to a new record high of 425.6 million barrels as monthly data showed stockpiles last exceeded this level in 1930. Analysts had expected a 3.233 million barrels increase. US supplies have climbed for six straight weeks.

Meanwhile, Brent crude price rebounded to $60 per barrel after falling below $58 per barrel in London.

The price of Brent futures for April delivery reached $60.01 per barrel on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in London. Earlier on Thursday Brent futures for April delivery dropped by 4.36% in London to $57.89 a barrel.
