BRATISLAVA, August 15./ITAR-TASS/. Gas deliveries from Ukraine to Europe run in normal mode, the operator of Slovakia's Eustream gas transmission system reported on Friday.

"As of Friday morning, Eustream has not registered any decrease in pressure or gas volumes at the Velke Kapusany booster station on the border with Ukraine," the report said.

On August 14, Ukraine's Verkhovnaya Rada passed a package of anti-Russian sanctions as 224 lawmakers supported the document.

Ukrainian sanctions might include a ban on Russian gas transit through Ukraine, but experts told ITAR-TASS that the measure was unlikely to take effect as Ukraine's Naftogaz company had eased his stance on the sanctions against Russian companies.
