CB bans Link-Bank’s work with deposits

MOSCOW, January 24. /ITAR-TASS/. The Bank of Russia (central bank) has sent to Link-Bank a demand to stop working with deposits, the regulator said on Friday.

On January 13, Link-Bank introduced certain limitations on opening deposits for individuals and lowered rates for certain deposit products.

Link-Bank is a medium bank in Moscow. It is owned by several individuals. The bank accounts for 440 million roubles (about 13 million dollars) in private deposits.
