Eight Russian entities taken off Ukraine sanctions list

Earlier on Wednesday, sanctions were imposed on 294 entities and 848 individuals involved in the construction of Crimean bridge and in the elections in Donbass republics

KIEV, March 20. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko excluded eight Russian companies from the sanctions list due to technical reasons after a notice submitted by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU).

Earlier on Wednesday, sanctions were imposed on 294 entities and 848 individuals involved in the construction of Crimean bridge and in the elections in Donbass republics. Moreover, sanctions were imposed on four Russian banks and the individuals who had visited Crimea.

"As the goal of sanctions was achieved, restrictive measures against eight legal entities have been cancelled at the request of Ukraine’s Security Service, as most of them had stopped business activities," the SBU said in a statement.
