MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin gave start to the full-scale development of the Kharasaveyskoye field by Gazprom at the Yamal peninsula on Wednesday. He took part in the ceremony in a video conference mode.
In the summer of 2018, Gazprom made a decision to start full-scale development of the Kharasaveyskoye field in 2019. The field is located on the Yamal Peninsula, Russia’s Arctic region, north of the Bovanenkovskoye field, mainly on the land of the peninsula and partially in the waters of the Kara Sea.
The field’s gas reserves amount to 2 trillion cubic meters (categories C1 and C2).
The start of production is scheduled for 2023, its planned production level is 32 bln cubic meters of gas per year.
