Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to open office in Indonesia in 2020

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is currently represented in over 30 countries

SOCHI, February 13. /TASS/. Russia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry plans to open a representative office in Indonesia in early 2020, its President Sergey Katyrin told TASS on the sidelines of the Russian investment forum on Wednesday.

"We are currently exploring Indonesia, which is one the biggest economies (in Southeast Asia)," he said, adding that the representative office would "most likely be opened at the beginning of next year."

According to Katyrin, Russia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry is represented in over 30 countries. Its representatives are searching for ways to bring Russian products to foreign markets.

The Russian investment forum will run in the Black Sea resort city of Sochi on February 14-15. The forum will focus on Russia’s national projects. The investment forum has been organized by Ruscongress. TASS news agency acts as the forum’s general information partner and the photo host agency.
