Putin hopes Accounts Chamber will support implementation of national projects

MOSCOW, January 21. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin expects that the Accounts Chamber, under the leadership of Alexei Kudrin, will provide substantial support in the implementation of national projects.

"I think that for you, as the person who was a member of the government himself and prepared documents same as required for national projects, it won’t be difficult in your new capacity to check the effectiveness of the state’s efforts," the head of state said at a working meeting with Kudrin.

"Therefore, I very much hope that under your leadership the chamber will function in that space and will provide substantial support for the implementation of national projects," he added.

The head of the Accounts Chamber confirmed that he was going to focus his work precisely in the space that was indicated by the president. "We are aimed at this," Kudrin assured.
