MOSCOW, November 29. /TASS/. Russia’s air defense systems manufacturer Almaz-Antey has handed over to the Defense Ministry five regiments of the missile system S-400 Triumf, the company’s press-service has said.
"Five S-400 Triumf regiments have been handed over to the Defense Ministry. Also, the concern delivered to the customer medium-range air defense systems Buk-M2, short-range air defense systems Tor-M2, the newest air defense systems Buk-M3 and a number of various radars," the company said in a news release.
According to the press-service the concern has fully coped with its defense contract for 2016.
During the outgoing year Almaz-Antey carried out maintenance and overhaul of more than 2,000 pieces of military equipment. All were returned to the customer. "The contractual obligations to the Defense Ministry for 2016 have been fully complied with," Almaz-Antey said.
