Asia-Pacific states keen on purchasing Russia’s S-300, S-400 missile systems

LANGKAWI /Malaysia/, March 26. /TASS/. Asian-Pacific countries are keen to purchase Russia’s S-300 and S-400 air defense missile systems, Deputy Director of Russia’s Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Mikhail Petukhov told TASS on Tuesday.

"Obviously, Asian-Pacific countries want to have cutting-edge Russian air defense facilities (S-300 and S-400) at their disposal and demonstrate interest in acquiring them, though no particular large projects are under consideration so far," he said.

Petukhov noted that serious projects in the field require considerable funds, whereas potential clients often have problems with that.
