Russian and Indian servicemen complete joint battle march at "Indra-2018" drills

The Russian-Indian joint military drills "Indra-2018" kicked off on November 19 and will run until November 28

BABINA ARMY RANGE, November 20. /TASS/. Russian and Indian servicemen have completed a joint battle march during international military drills "Indra-2018" in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, the press service of the Russian Eastern Military District said on Tuesday.

"Reinforced morotized rifle battalions of participants were raised on alarm.The servicemen's equipment included personal weapons and means of radiation, chemical and biological protection," the press service said adding that participants in the drills completed a battle march over 10 kilometers cross-country.

"During the march, tasks were practiced on crossing the contaminated area and repelling an attack. The reconnaisance unit of the reinforced Russian motorized rifle battalion posed as an 'enemy'," the press service noted. Russian and Indian servicemen successfully completed the tasks, the press service said.

The Russian-Indian joint military drills "Indra-2018" kicked off on November 19 and will run until November 28.
