MOSCOW, April 16. /TASS/. Russia’s state arms seller Rosoboronexport will demonstrate Sukhoi super maneuverable fighter jets, the Yak-130 combat training aircraft and attack helicopters at the DSA-2018 international defense and security exhibition in Kuala-Lumpur (Malaysia) on April 16-19, the company’s press office reported on Monday.

"The aviation component is a priority in the structure of Russia’s exports to South-East Asian countries today. Rosoboronexport specialists say that multipurpose super maneuverable fighter jets of the Su family (Su-35 and Su-30MKM), the MiG-29M frontline fighter and the Yak-130 combat trainer are among the most promising aircraft for this market," the press office said.

Customers are also expected to show interest in Russian Mi-171Sh and Mi-17V-5 military transport helicopters and Mi-35M transport and attack gunships. Rosoboronexport also noted "the considerable export potential of Russian Ka-226T light multipurpose and Mi-28NE combat helicopters demonstrated at the exhibition."

"Foreign delegations are expected to show big interest in the Russian products supplied for the needs of the navies, land troops, and also for air defense means, in particular, the Pantsyr-S1 surface-to-air missile/gun complex and the Igla-S mobile air defense system. Rosoboronexport expects representatives of ground forces to show interest in T-90S and T-90MS tanks, Metis-M1 and Kornet-EM anti-tank missile systems and Kalashnikov assault rifles of the 100th series demonstrated by the company," the press office said.

The company’s specialists also named Project 14310 Mirazh and Project 12200 Sobol patrol boats, the Gepard-3.9 frigate based on the Project 11661 guard ship and the large Project 636 diesel-electric submarine among the most promising armaments on the market of naval hardware.
