MAKHACHKALA, June 1 (Itar-Tass) —— Unknown attackers have killed a teacher and set fire to the school in the village of Tsebari in Dagestan.
On Thursday, at about 23:20 Moscow time, the attackers fired a submachine gun at Zairbek Gazimagomedov, a physical education teacher when he came out of a mosque after praying. He died at the site.
Twenty minutes later, the same gunmen set fire to the gymnasium and the school located on the village's outskirts. The buildings burned up completely, a Dagestani police source told Itar-Tass on Friday.
A criminal case is opened over the attack. An investigation and search are underway to find and detain the gunmen.
