NEW YORK, November 8. /TASS/. If Donald Trump loses the election, he will concede, unless he decides the election wasn’t fair, the Republican presidential candidate’s son Donald Trump Jr. said on Tuesday.

"All we’ve wanted was a fair fight," Donald Trump Jr. told MSNBC’s "Morning Joe" panel. According to him, in some states "a few thousand votes can make a difference."

The possibility of Donald Trump not conceding has become an issue during the election campaign since Trump himself repeatedly said the elections could be rigged.

According to a US tradition, after the election results have been announced, the president-elect addresses his campaign team while the defeated candidate delivers a concession speech and congratulates his rival. As the Purdue University Assistant Professor Josh Scacco said, "it is the first step in establishing the president-elect as a legitimate governing person."

According to the Wall Street Journal, Clinton’s campaign team has been bracing for the possibility that Trump will not concede if defeated, but campaign sources suppose that other Republican figures will exert pressure on the billionaire to make him accept defeat if Clinton wins.
