The republic already had agreements to establish inter-parliamentary ties with Donetsk and Luhansk

TSKHINVAL, July 03./ITAR-TASS/. The South Caucasian Republic of South Ossetia will develop close co-operation with Luhansk and Donetsk people’s republics self-proclaimed in southeast Ukraine, republican Parliament Speaker Anatoly Bibilov said on Thursday.

“We will conduct permanent work with them, South Ossetia has already recognized them, but support should be constant,” Bibilov told reporters, noting that “Now these republics are living through the times which South Ossetia experienced before 2008 (before its proclamation of independence). Therefore, our support will give strength to them.”

Bibilov noted earlier that the republic already had agreements to establish inter-parliamentary ties with Donetsk and Luhansk.

South Ossetia recognized independence of Luhansk people’s republic on June 18 and Donetsk people’s republic - June 27.
