Iran begins preparing for legal arrangement of final agreement with P5+1 in advance

A source in the Iranian delegation said this on Tuesday at the talks on Iranian nuclear issue in Vienna

VIENNA, April 8. /ITAR-TASS/. Iran has started preparations for legal arrangement of the final agreement with the six world powers (international mediators in settling the Iranian nuclear issue), a source in the delegation representing the Islamic Republic of Iran told ITAR-TASS on Tuesday.

“We have a complex and challenging work of drafting and codifying the final agreement ahead,” the source said. “Understanding that, a decision has been made to involve well-known legal experts specializing in international law in this process.” “This decision is aimed at helping the parties in their challenging work in the forthcoming period,” the source added. “To date, there is an insight that it is possible to meet the deadline until July 20.”

 

Iranian delegation holds bilateral consultations with Russian and Chinese counterparts

The Iranian side has held bilateral meetings with delegations from Russia and China in Vienna, a source in Iran’s delegation told ITAR-TASS earlier on Tuesday.

“Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Abbas Araghchi has held bilateral meetings with Russian and Chinese counterparts within the framework of the negotiations round of Iran and P5+1 in order to coordinate stances,” the agency’s source said.

Araghchi told Iranian journalists that Tehran reckoned on progress in the course of the current round of talks. “We hope that we would be able to narrow the gap and lessen the differences regarding problematic issues,” he noted.
