Houthis call on airlines to avoid Saudi Arabia’s airspace

DOHA, October 5. /TASS/. The coordination center for humanitarian operations controlled by the Houthis from the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah has called on airlines to avoid Saudi Arabia’s airspace.

"As a result of Saudi aggression against our country using aviation, and to ensure the safety of civil aviation and save lives, the coordination center for humanitarian operations is issuing a warning to all airlines operating in Saudi Arabia’s airspace, as it is unsafe," it said in a statement published by the SABA agency, which is controlled by Ansar Allah.

The center said the kingdom's airspace "will become a theater of military operations" for the rebel forces. "The Republic of Yemen (referring to Houthis - TASS) disclaims responsibility after this statement," the statement says.
