TEHRAN, June 8. /TASS/. The airport in Iran’s southern city of Shiraz has come under Israeli fire, the Al Alam TV channel reported.

Shiraz Airport was not damaged in the strike, the Mehr news agency reported. According to the news outlet, the authorities said the facility had not been hit.

Air defenses were also activated west of Tehran, intercepting aerial targets over the city of Karaj, Al Alam added.
