TEHRAN, May 26. /TASS/. Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei said that the United States will no longer be able to use Middle Eastern countries as shields for its bases or have any safe place in the region.

"One thing is certain – the hands of time will not turn back, and the peoples and countries of the region will no longer serve as shields for US bases. The United States will no longer have safe places for its military bases and plots and is steadily losing its positions," he said in a written address.

Khamenei called on all Muslim countries to strengthen friendship, cooperation, and mutual support in order to resolve all issues together.
