TEL AVIV, September 10. /TASS/. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has delivered a series of strikes on Yemen, the IDF press service said in a statement.

According to the statement, the Israeli attacks targeted Houthi military sites in the capital Sanaa and the northern province of Al Jawf.

"Among the targets struck are military camps in which operatives of the terrorist regime were identified, the Houthi's Military Public Relations Headquarters, and a fuel storage facility that was used by the terrorist regime for terrorist activity," the IDF said.

The Israeli military said the strike was delivered in response to Houthi attacks where drones and ballistic missiles were launched towards Israel.

"The Houthis terrorist regime operates under the direction and funding of the Iranian regime, in order to harm the State of Israel and its allies. The regime exploits the maritime domain to project force and carry out terror activity against the global shipping and trade routes," the IDF said.

Israel warned that it will deliver more strikes on the Houthis if it sees fit.

"The IDF will operate against the ongoing and repeated attacks of the Houthi terrorist regime against the State of Israel, and remains determined to continue removing any threat posed to the civilians of the State of Israel, wherever it is required," the statement reads.
